WELCOME!

I'm a writer.

You talk - I write!

Writing is therapeutic to me. If I'm not spell-checking an email or letter I typed, I'm sitting at my desk with a pen to a piece of paper, writing my thoughts down like I'm back in school.

Writing helps me organize my feelings and clear my mind. I consider myself a mystery, and I've grown to like this about myself. You could say that writing helps me figure myself out sometimes - if that makes any sense. Lol! Only the real writers and over-thinkers will understand that one!

I'm a poet.

Je ne sais quoi.

To me, poetry is such a beautiful form of expression! It allows me to pour my heart out in a way that is harmonious and passionate. Poetry is a safe space where I can be myself and write about anything I feel intensely. I discovered my love for poetry when I realized that I couldn't express my deeper emotions freely. That's when I started writing in a way that helped me articulate my feelings more clearly and poetically.

Eventually, I started doing Floetry over instrumental beats that gained me recognition as a female rapper. Believe it or not, and if you're interested in a collab, I'm all for it. Let's create something amazing. I thought I'd just put that out there. Just in case you were thinking it!

I'm an author.

I Made Being An Author Possible For My Family.

It's amazing how learning to publish a book can open up so many doors! I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to discover this skill, and now my family can do the same. I was the first person in my family to become a self-published author, and it's been so exciting to see my daughter, Nashiy, follow in my footsteps. She wrote her very first story when she was only eight years old and published it when she was just ten!

I'm beyond impressed with her, and I'm so proud to say that she's now a second-generation self-published author. I know this is only the beginning for her, and I can't wait to see what God has in store for her! You were sent here to shine, Babygirl! Never dim your light!
